Opportunity SC 2022
SC Community Capital Alliance had the honor of sponsoring the “Own” track, “Own: Transforming Communities with Capital”, at SCACED’s Build, Grown, Own Opportunity SC 2022 Conference in Greenville, SC, October 12 – 14, 2022.
The “Own” track consisted of breakout sessions focused on how CDFIs can support small and minority businesses, close the equity gap, address childcare and use data to define strategies. Session topics included:
- Financing Small & Minority Business Development
- Creative Financing for Racial Equity
- Using Census Data to Define Strategy
- Financing for South Carolina’s Childcare Crisis
In addition, the track provided attendees with the opportunity to tour Judson Mill, a historic mixed-use mill redevelopment project in downtown Greenville.
