The South Carolina Community Capital Alliance (SCCCA), in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, hosted a statewide community economic development capital conference, bringing together local and national partners to further develop innovations in creating capital to support South Carolina’s local economy.
This one-day conference featured best practices and bold investment strategies that result in measurable community impacts that seek to achieve new models for economic growth. These models explored the continuum of capital that impacts business development and economic opportunities, and the value of creating public-private partnerships in pursuit of shared social goals to strengthen communities.
Preceding the conference, on Monday, October 26, there was a reception featuring the work of CDFIs around the state and their impact on local economies.
